At the time of its construction, India had expressed objection to China but no military action was taken but at present, India is taking action against the activities done by China on Aksai China.

Also, at that time there was an agreement between India and China to settle this dispute under which each other was obliged to follow the rules of LA according to which both Indian and China countries around Galvan Valley were can’t do any kind of construction work but Chinese forces have already done illegal construction there.

Knowing the seriousness of the situation, the Indian Army also started construction work. As soon as the Indian forces started the construction, the situation of dispute arose because it is against the agreement.
