Everyone must have heard about the seven wonders of the world but most the people of India only know about the Taj Mahal. They know the Taj Mahal is a wonder and how it looks like, but apart from the Taj Mahal, some of the people hardly know about other 6 wonders.

There are very few people know the names of all these seven world wonders and how these seven wonders look like.

There are many admirable places all over the world that really leave a mark. In which some structures are amazing, epic and awe-inspiring, there are only seven such places around the world which have been kept in the category of wonders, one of which is located in India.

A Greek writer Antipater of Sidon compiled a list of the seven most influential constructions based on what was popular with audiences.

It is believed that the number seven considered a lucky number by the Greeks. It represents perfection and prosperity.

Chichen Itza is a complex of Mayan ruins on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Christ the Redeemer is a giant statue of Jesus Christ on the summit of southeastern Brazil, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil’s major port city, and completed in 1931, is 98 feet (30 meters) tall, with 92 feet of arms. i.e. extends horizontally up to 28 meters.

Petra, a famous archaeological site, is located in the southwestern desert of Jordan (a country in Western Asia). In about 300 BC it was the capital of the Nabataean kingdom. It houses tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, and is nicknamed the “Rose City”. Its most famous structure is the 45-metre-high Al Khazneh, an ornate, Greek-style temple, also known as ‘The Treasury’.
